Pastor Christian Muñoz is a dedicated servant of God, a visionary leader, and a passionate advocate for empowering local churches to transform their communities. In 2010, alongside his wife Emmy and their two children, Emily and Christian Jr., he co-founded Champions in Action Guatemala—an organization committed to providing hope and opportunities to at-risk youth.
My Story...
God's Call
His journey began with a strong foundation in faith and education. A graduate of the Pastoral School at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, Pastor Christian also holds a degree in theology. He has played a significant role in equipping church leaders across Latin America, serving for years as a member of the Board of Directors for Willow Creek Association Guatemala and leading special summit events tailored for pastors.
Today, Pastor Christian serves as the President of International Apostolic Ministries Yeshua, a ministry with an expanding presence in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. His heart remains steadfast in equipping pastors and leaders with the tools they need to strengthen their congregations and create lasting, transformative impact within their communities.
Pastor Christian believes wholeheartedly that the local church is the hope of the world when it functions as God intends—a beacon of truth, love, and restoration. While methods and strategies may evolve, his message remains constant: The Gospel is the unchanging answer to the challenges facing individuals and communities.

Youth in Guatemala’s most vulnerable neighborhoods face immense challenges—poverty, malnutrition, violence, and broken families leave them without hope and without the Gospel. These obstacles threaten to shape their futures unless we intervene.
Champions in Action offers a path forward. Through programs providing food, education, mentorship, and discipleship, we address both physical and spiritual needs. These initiatives equip youth to overcome adversity while building faith, character, and a future rooted in Jesus Christ. Pastor Christian Muñoz is at the forefront of this mission, partnering with churches to spread the message and mobilize vital support.
