MAKE AN IMPACT TODAY!
In Guatemala, only 42% of students complete primary school due to a lack of necessary resources and, most of the time, because their parents would rather teach them an occupation to provide income for their family than attend classes. Children, families, and communities suffer long-term consequences as a result of their lack of educational opportunities.

Even when children do manage to stay in school, they frequently leave without the skills required to secure a job that will lift them and their families out of poverty; sometimes they simply learn how to write and read in order to obtain a job that does not require much education and is more physical, such as loading trucks or construction, and most of the time they illegally migrate to the United States or Canada in search of a better life.
At Champions in Action, we’re committed to going beyond the basics. While our school supplies program provides essential resources like books, pens, scissors, glue, notebooks, and backpacks, our mission extends further. We’re striving to equip more than 250 children in our programs not only with school supplies but also with the job skills training they need to build a brighter future.
